The Frames
We hand make each frame to a custom order. We use solid oak for a natural wood look or poplar for painted frames. We can stain the wood or paint the frames in the color of your choice. One end on the frame is put together with galvanized screws so they withstand the elements and so that you could slide in different tiles. You could have a tile for every holiday or if you move you could change the numbers. We build frames that hold up to 6 tiles, of course we could build one larger if necessary. A groove in the top and bottom pieces of wood holds the tile securely, no glue is used on the tile so that they can be changed. We have a few designs available. In the painted frame we can add on a small lighthouse. We can add on a large lighthouse, instead of hanging hardware we attach two stakes so that you can put in your yard. On the natural oak we can attach wood applique for a more decorative look. We are still developing a few designs so look for those in the future.
The Ceramic Tile
We have two sizes of tile available, 3 x 6 inches and 4 x 4 inches. 4 x 4 tiles can go either horizontal or vertical. The tiles are in white and numbers are in black, the numbers measure 3 inches tall. They are kiln fired on and are very durable, will not fade or tear off. You can choose many styles, there are hundreds of decals to choose from. I cannot put all of them on this web site but if you are interested in something not here we can see what we can find. We can also hand paint a design of your choosing, maybe a picture of your house. We are looking at having letters available also. You could have your name configured with your numbers in a frame. We can place numbers over decorative decals.
